Job Summary The H.R.
Manager is responsible for personnel matters as well as administrative support spanning the DKT AWA region but with focus on Ghana.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Human Resources
- Lead the Ghana efforts and support the Liberia and Sierra Leoneefforts in recruitment and retention, compensation and benefits, training and team-building; organizational development.
- Serve as liaison between staff and management and monitor generalstaff morale.
- Payroll and benefits administration.
- Review, update and enforce company policies, such as the Employees
- Handbook and Code of Conduct, as required, in accordance with thelaws of Ghana.
- Implement international best practices, such as performancemanagement systems and written SOPs.
- Generally, improve systems and processes to improve employeeexperience and promote employee satisfaction.
- Maintain an office environment that contributes to employee satisfaction
Key Interfaces
- Regulatory Affairs: For health safety policies affecting staff, including COVID safety protocols, vaccinations and testing
- Also, Finance: For payroll and benefits administration
Support Services:
For maintaining a conducive office environment
Marketing:
For internal communications content including monthly staff newsletter (new).
Required Skills or Experience
Experience:
- Five (5) to ten (10) years related work experience, preferably in a health-related or consumer sales-and-marketingcompany, with at least five (5) years as an HR manager
Education:
- At minimum, a four (4) year degree in related area (Psychology, Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations)
Knowledge and skill Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills in English and Twi.
- Exceptional interpersonal, diplomatic, and group-facilitation skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving orientation.
- Ability to read, understand and follow technical documentation.
- A flexible, highly motivated person able to work in a fast-pacedenvironment that conforms to international best practices.
- Autonomous and pro-active work style
- An expert administrator, comfortable with detail- and process-oriented work. Experience with digital HR tools, a plus.
- High degree of professionalism, especially with regard to handlingconfidential and personal information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
