The International Potato Center (CIP) is seeking to recruit dynamic and experienced Research Officers to assure the successful implementation of the agricultural component of the Generating Revenues & Opportunities for Women to Improve Nutrition in Ghana (GROWING) project, especially the seed system for orange-fleshed sweet potato, and the proper management of all selected crops from planting through storage.
1. Research Officer (Agronomist)
- Coordinate the identification and training of sweet potato multipliers.
- Set up quality control procedures for purchased seed and planting material of other target crops
- Liaise with Ghanaian research institutes for the provision of quality pre-basic sweet potato seed.
- Design and implement training programs on management of selected crops.

2. Research Officer (Monitoring And Evaluation)
- Design and implement household surveys at baseline and endline to assess the initial impact of the project.
- Design and implement the monitoring system, including digital tools to collect data and connect stakeholders along selected value chains.
- Conduct value chain studies.
