AngloGold Ashanti (Ghana) Limited, Obuasi Gold Mine is currently near completion of the redevelopment phase to become a modern, efficient and long-term profitable operation. The underground mining operation has been fully mechanized and designed to produce up to an average maximum of 5,000 t/day of ore mined.

1. CIVIL DRAFTSMAN
The Civil Draftsman will be responsible for producing Civil Structural drawings. Drawing revisions and issue for construction drawings. Mark up red line drawings. Ensure work is executed on latest revisions and control of drawing register.

2. CLERK OF WORKS – ELECTRICAL
The Clerk of Works reports to the Electrical Lead and is accountable for overseeing the quality of the installation of the Surface Electrical reticulation network in a compliant and presentable manner with respect to works on the Obuasi mine Phase 3 Project. The Clerk of Works will also be responsible for the supervision and administration of Contractor weekly time sheets when required.

3. MECHANICAL DRAFTSMAN

4. AUTOMATION & INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER
The Automation and Instrumentation Engineer reports to the Senior C & I Engineer, and is accountable for overseeing tasked plant instrumentation, controls, communications installation, commissioning, and handover to Operations in a safe and compliant manner with respect to works on the Obuasi Mine Phase 3 Project.

5. CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR – ELECTRICAL
The Construction Supervisor – Electrical will be responsible for the field supervision of Electrical construction crews (LV and MV) works at the Obuasi KMS surface, shaft, and underground areas. The supervisor will be accountable for maintaining progress as per Project schedule and for overseeing the teams to work in a safe and responsible manner, according to the mine safety procedures and protocols.

7. MINE CAPTAIN – PROJECT
The Project Mine Captain will implement safe mining practices at project construction areas to rehabilitate, strip, or develop accesses and other excavations accordance with the Mining Regulations and deliver the work of the rehabilitation, stripping, development within approved budget targets and specified timeframes, costs and related KPIs.

8. PLC & SCADA PROGRAMMER
The PLC Programmer is accountable for programing, testing and commissioning tasked plant Instrumentation, controls systems, Communications installation, and handover to Operations in a safe and compliant manner with respect to works on the Obuasi Mine Phase 3 Project

9. CLERK OF WORKS – MECHANICAL
The Clerk of Works (COW)-Mechanical is accountable for overseeing the Quality of the Installation and refurbishment works on the Surface and Underground Structural, Mechanical, Platework and Piping (SMPP). The COW will be responsible for the supervision and administration of the Contractor daily, weekly, and monthly time sheets. The COW will also be responsible for weekly survey of the quantity of material installed and progress report as per schedule.

10. HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
The Human Resources MANAGER role is accountable for implementing and continually improving the effectiveness of existing human resource systems and processes, to support the AGAG Unit to achieve its operational and strategic objectives to agreed standards, primarily by leading and managing HR Information Systems and Employee and Industrial Relations.
