A reputable company wishes to recruit a Social Media Coordinator
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders from across the organization to develop social media messaging and monthly plans that aligns with the goals, mission and reputation, and increase the number of followers and engagement
- Research audience preferences and discover current trends
- Create engaging text, image and video content
- Measure web traffic and monitor SEO
- Stay up to date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
- Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries
- Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer metrics engagement
- Oversee online accounts’ layout
- Develop strategies to attract and retain prospective customers/clients
- Draft content and manage posting for social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.
- Ensure the continuity of a brand online voice across all channels
- Develop content, design or campaigns and update internet community handles on a frequent basis
- Monitor fraudulent behaviour and other disruptive behaviour for corrective actions on social media pages
QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role.
- First Degree in Communication Design, Media or equivalent
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and expertise in multiple social media platforms
- In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research and google analytics
- Ability to deliver creative content
- Familiarity with online marketing strategies and channels
- Excellent communication skills
- Multitasking and analytical skills
