Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in education
- Previous experience working with students with special needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of teaching practices for students with special needs.
- Specialisation in Special Education would be advantageous.
- Be a strong Christian witness to families, students and colleagues.
- Meet the certification standards set by ACSI and other accreditation agencies.
- IB certification preferred
- Transportation by school bus to and from school on weekdays or any other days as the employer may approve.
- Health Insurance.
- Work and residence permit assistance.
- Salary that commensurates experience and certification.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitating Lessons in a manner that will be effective despite a student’s diasability.
- Providing support for students both academically and personally where necessary.
- Respecting students and treating them with dignity in the learning environment.
- Preparing lessons in advance with the needs of learners in mind.
- Designing activities to achieve the learning goals of the students.
